Hi! My name is Brittni Leitch and I am the new K-3 IAC/ILC teacher at Fords Prairie. I have been in education for about 14 years, but most of my experience is in Secondary, so I am excited for this new and challenging role! My family has been a part of the Centralia community for almost 10 years, so this is home for me and I am so excited to finally be teaching here!

I have a Bachelors in English from Emmanuel College in Georgia, and a Masters in Secondary Education from Saint Joseph's University. I also have a Special Education Degree add-on from Northwest Education Development.

I grew up in Virginia and when I married my husband, who is a Washington Native and is also teaching in Centralia also, we moved out here as soon as we could! We are so happy to be raising our son, Oliver here and teaching the amazing kids of Centralia! I look forward to getting to know my students and the families I serve!

A few fun facts about me:

I have been married for 17 years to my college sweetheart.

I was born in Japan.

I grew up doing Karate and was taught by my daddy and a Grand Master from Okinawa, Japan.

I have 7 brothers and sisters.

I grew up in Virginia.

There is a small town in Virginia where I am somehow related to EVERYONE.

My southern accent comes out heavy when I talk to my mama and daddy, if I am tired, or if I am grumpy.

My daddy is Santa Clause (Sort of kidding..but not really...see pictures)

My husband's grandmother (and family) was born in Centralia, so we are distantly related to a lot of people here...so we might be related!
