Mrs. Taylor- Physical Education Teacher
Dear Fords Prairie Families,
Welcome to a new school year! My name is Mrs. Taylor, and I am thrilled to be joining the Fords Prairie Elementary team as your child’s new Physical Education teacher!
Centralia is home to me, and I am excited to bring my passion for youth athletics directly to Fords Prairie. Prior to joining the team here, I taught PE at Oakview Elementary and served as the Centralia School District Youth Sports Director, where I had the privilege of implementing our five after-school sports programs. Having worked closely with students across the district, I am eager to continue building strong relationships with our local families and community.
In PE this year, our focus will be on learning fundamental movement skills, building teamwork, understanding healthy habits, and—most importantly—having fun while staying active! My goal is to create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where every student feels confident trying new activities and developing a lifelong appreciation for fitness.
